”Lindsay and 24 other students performed for legislators as part of the All-State Vocal Jazz Ensemble. Lindsay who is the first from Gates Chili to have received the honor auditioned for the ensemble last year. She had to learn to sight-read jazz music and to scat. “Jazz singing is so much harder than pop singing.
